The positive outcomes of the partnership between our agencies include improved academic performance, increased attendance in school, improvements to mental health and family functioning, securing employment, and improved life and social skills. We strongly support the work Second Mile performs and hope to see this become available to more students across the country.

Second Mile Education has been a collaborative partner with OCPS since 2008, ensuring vulnerable students have the opportunity to achieve a high school diploma. Their schools have not only complied with statutory requirements and been in good standing since inception, but have been a staple in the communities they serve, providing accessible choice options across Orange County. We value them as a partner in achieving student success and look forward to continuing our long-standing relationship.
